Complaints & Appeals Policy

Socratika: Journal of Progressive Education and Social Inquiry provides authors, reviewers, readers, and other stakeholders with a fair and transparent mechanism for submitting complaints or appealing editorial decisions.

Editorial Appeals. Authors may appeal an editorial decision when they believe that a significant error, misunderstanding, or procedural concern affected the decision. Appeals must clearly explain the grounds for reconsideration and provide relevant supporting information. An appeal does not guarantee that the original decision will be changed.

Complaints. Complaints concerning the editorial process, peer review, publication ethics, conflicts of interest, or journal procedures should be submitted to the journal with sufficient detail to allow appropriate investigation.

Complaints and appeals will be handled objectively, confidentially, and as promptly as reasonably possible. Where appropriate, the matter may be reviewed by an editor who was not directly involved in the original decision or concern.

Complaints or appeals may be submitted through the journal's official contact channels. Socratika follows recognized publication-ethics principles, including relevant COPE guidance, in resolving such matters.
