Autor Guideline

Before You Submit

Authors must ensure that the submitted manuscript:

  1. Is original, unpublished, and not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
  2. Has been written using the official Journal of Early Childhood Education Research template (available in both English and Bahasa Indonesia).
  3. Has passed a similarity check using software such as Turnitin.
  4. Includes references written using citation management tools like Mendeley, Zotero, EndNote, RefWorks, or BibTeX.
  5. Conforms to the focus and scope of the journal.
  6. Fulfills all administrative requirements.

Submissions not complying with these requirements will be rejected without review.

Writing Guidelines

  1. Manuscripts must be relevant to Early Childhood Education and written in English or Bahasa Indonesia, using clear and concise language.
  2. Submissions should align with the Journal of Early Childhood Education Research Template
  3. Manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) or RTF format.
  4. Include active URLs for references where applicable.

Submission Procedure

  1. Manuscripts are submitted online through the official JECER platform by creating an author account and uploading the manuscript file.
  2. The editorial team will conduct an initial review, including:
  3. Relevance to journal scope
  4. Frequency of similar topics published
  5. Plagiarism screening
  6. Manuscripts that pass the initial screening will be forwarded for double-blind peer review.
  7. Authors are required to submit revisions within 1 week upon receiving feedback from reviewers.
  8. Accepted articles will receive an official Letter of Acceptance (LoA) and publication confirmation via email.

Publication Ethics and Open Access

Journal of Early Childhood Education Research is a double-blind peer-reviewed, open-access journal. Articles published are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License. Authors retain copyright and grant the journal the right to first publication.

Misleading data or ethical breaches may result in article withdrawal at any stage by the editor or editorial board. Authors are expected to uphold the highest standards of research integrity.
