Abstract

This research investigates the development of an Android-based booklet as a learning medium for the Islamic practice of corpse management in 11th-grade students at SMA Negeri 4 Luwu. The rapid advancement of information technology has significantly influenced educational practices, necessitating innovative learning tools that align with contemporary educational needs. The study aims to evaluate the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the developed booklet in enhancing students' understanding of this crucial subject in Islamic Religious Education. Employing the ADDIE development model, the research follows a structured process involving analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The results reveal that the booklet is highly valid, with expert evaluations in material, media, and language yielding scores of 84%, 78%, and 92%, respectively. Practicality tests conducted with students resulted in a score of 85.31%, indicating that the media is very practical. Furthermore, the effectiveness test showed a significant improvement in student learning outcomes, with a classical completeness score of 89%, exceeding the minimum standard of 75%. These findings highlight the media's capability to create a more engaging and effective learning experience. The study underscores the importance of integrating technology into Islamic Religious Education to make learning more interactive and appealing. The successful application of the ADDIE model in this context also suggests its potential for broader educational media development. Overall, the research contributes significantly to educational innovation, offering a valuable reference for future media development and encouraging the integration of technology in education to enhance learning quality across various subjects
