This thesis discusses the development of snake and ladder game-based learning media for the teaching material "Let's Get to Know the Apostles of God" at State Elementary School 035 Awo-awo, Baebunta District, North Luwu Regency. The study aims to determine the validity and practicality of the learning media based on the snakes and ladders game for the specified teaching materials. This research employs a research and development (R&D) approach using the 4D development model, which includes: (1) Define, (2) Design, (3) Develop, and (4) Disseminate. The subjects of this study were fifth-grade teachers and students at State Elementary School 035 Awo-awo. The results indicate that the development of the snakes and ladders-based learning media using the 4D model in Islamic Religious Education at State Elementary School 035 Awo-awo encompasses the Define stage for analyzing learning conditions and learner needs, the Design stage for instrument and interactive media design, the Develop stage for implementation with validation and revision, and the Disseminate stage for media distribution and limited evaluation. The snakes and ladders game-based learning media for the material "Let's Get to Know the Apostles of God" at State Elementary School 035 Awo-awo is highly valid, with an average expert and media validation score of 93.75%. Additionally, the learning media is very practical, with an average practicality percentage of 92.24%.
