Penanaman Nilai-Nilai Multikultural dalam Mencegah Perilaku Bullying pada Siswa SMA di Kota Mataram

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi bentuk penanaman nilai multikultural dan menunjukkan nilai-nilai multikultural yang ditanamkan dalam mencegah perilaku bullying pada siswa sekolah menengah atas di Kota Mataram. Kajian ini menggunakan metodologi fenomenologi kualitatif dan menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel secara purposive dan snowball. Data dikumpulkan melalui berbagai metode, termasuk observasi, wawancara, studi dokumentasi, dan fokus grup diskusi. Kemudian, data dikurangi, ditampilkan, dan ditarik kesimpulan akhir. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai multikultural membantu mencegah perilaku menjelaskan sebagai berikut: 1) dilakukan secara terpadu dan terintegrasi dalam kegiatan intrakurikuler dan ektrakurikuler; 2) kerja sama, komitmen, dan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah sangat penting untuk menanamkan nilai multikultural; dan 3) bekerja sama dengan pendidikan multibudaya dan pendidikan karakter untuk menjunjung tinggi kesetaraan dan kesederajatan; 4) melalui pembiasaan dan keteladanan guru yang tercermin dari perilaku di lingkungan sekolah; 5) nilai multikultural yang ditanamkan kepada siswa termasuk nilai toleransi, demokrasi, solidaritas, kesetaraan, dan cinta damai. Nilai-nilai multikultural ini dipilih untuk diterapkan di lingkungan sekolah agar siswa tidak terlibat dalam perilaku bullying.
