Abstract

This study aims to explore the forms of cooperation between Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers and parents in fostering the morals of students at SMP Negeri 2 Bajo, Luwu Regency and the obstacles encountered. This qualitative descriptive study involved the school principal, PAI teachers, and parents of students as research subjects. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation.The results show that the forms of cooperation include parent-teacher meetings, consultations, home visits, and communication. Obstacles faced include lack of parental awareness and difficulty in managing time. The study concludes that cooperation between PAI teachers and parents is crucial in fostering student morals. Although challenges exist, the existing forms of cooperation demonstrate potential to enhance moral development. Further efforts are needed to increase parental awareness of their role and provide more flexible solutions to engage parents actively
